Fans crushed in stampede at World Cup warm-up

Summary:
Police forces lost control over a crowd of fans during the official start of the World Cup in South Africa. A unexpected big number of supporters came to watch the friendly match between Nigeria and North Korean. The stadium has a capacity of 15.000 and 8.000 free cards were handed to fans. Opinion:
I didn’t find this to disturbing news to be honest. Football just always comes together with violence. It has been like that for years so this news isn’t that surprising. Either bring more policemen to football matches or just don’t let anyone watch the games anymore and just make them watch it at home. This is a good way to make sure there is less violence around football. It is said in the article as well that women and children were pulled from beneath the pile of crushed fans and you have to be a bit stupid to go and wait in front of thousands of fans with your kid to enter the stadium.
